Some POS and online ordering systems require an API key to integrate with InhouseDelivery.
These can be self-served from the Settings menu in InhouseDelivery.
Pre-requisites
Navigate to Settings>Global Settings>API keys
Note API keys are only accessible to users with the administrator role.
Generate key
Client IDs and Client Secrets can be generated from the API keys page.
Click the Generate key button.
Once generated, you will be able to copy both the Client ID and Client Secret to connect to your POS / online ordering system.
The list of generated API keys will be visible from the list view. Only Client IDs will be visible; Client Secrets are not able to be viewed for security purposes.
Only 2 keys can be generated at a time.
API keys can be deleted. Deleting a key will immediately revoke access for all integrations using the key and cannot be undone.
