Restaurants can choose to use third-party delivery partners to deliver their orders.
InhouseDelivery has relationships with a number of large delivery providers, including RouteMasters, DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, and SkipCart. Specific delivery partners available differ based on location.
Did you know you can also use your own drivers to deliver your orders?
Even better, InhouseDelivery does not charge any fees for deliveries made by a restaurant’s own drivers.
Drivers can even be assigned multiple orders simultaneously, streamlining your delivery process.

How do I enable third-party delivery?
By default, third-party delivery is enabled for each location upon creation. If you wish to change this, so that deliveries are only performed by employees of your restaurant, please contact our support team.

InhouseDelivery has relationships with key delivery providers:
RouteMasters
DoorDash Drive
Uber Direct

The delivery service providers available to each restaurant will differ depending on location.
Generally, Routemasters, DoorDash Drive and Uber Direct are enabled for each location. To discuss what other delivery providers are available to you, or change the delivery partners enabled, please contact us.
How often does IHD bill?
For most customers, billing is performed on a weekly basis.
Each bill includes an account statement displaying the breakdown of costs and the deliveries performed within the billing period.
Are there any upfront costs?
No. There is no setup fee and no minimum monthly costs. Simply pay for the deliveries performed.
Are there any transaction fees?
Payment by ACH (direct bank transfer) will incur a 1% transaction fee. Payment by credit card will incur a 3% transaction fee.
What name will appear on my bank statement?
Charges made by IHD will appear as SocialSchedules IHD on your bank statement.
How do refunds work?
Refunds provided by a third-party provider will be applied as a credit to the next invoice.
How do you select which third-party delivery provider to send an order to?
Orders are routed to the cheapest available delivery provider at the time of the delivery request.
Can I use my own drivers and third-party drivers?
Yes. Simply enable both on the Dispatch settings page.
If both self-delivery and third-party delivery are enabled, inhouse drivers are always prioritized unless the delivery falls outside the delivery radius for self-delivery.
If no inhouse drivers are available only then will the order be dispatched to a third-party provider.
Third Party Delivery Pricing
What is the cost to use a third-party delivery provider?
When an order is routed to a third-party delivery partner, the restaurant is required to pay the driver fee charged by the partner. These fees are generally based on the delivery distance (see below).
InhouseDelivery collects the third-party driver fees from the restaurant as part of the weekly billing cycle, and passes it onto the delivery provider. No payment is required directly from a restaurant to a third-party provider.
Any driver tips are also collected and passed onto the delivery provider, for payment to the driver.
Example
A customer places an order for 2 pizzas for $20. They add a tip of $3 for the driver onto the order.
The restaurant uses IHD to dispatch the order. The order is dispatched to a delivery driver from Service Provider 1 at a cost of $6.
At the end of the day, IHD charges the restaurant $10 for this order:
$3 for the driver tip, which is directly passed onto Service Provider 1
$6 for the driver fee, which is directly passed onto Service Provider 1
$1 as the IHD service fee (with $1 being the IHD fee in this region)
What are the delivery charges by provider?
InhouseDelivery has negotiated competitive rates with our delivery partners.
Pricing varies based on the partner and the distance between your restaurant and the delivery address.
